I know I should buy the AT but want the MT. Mostly street driven. Need good wet traction

Buying new tires. I really need an AT, much more like the MTs. Jeep has seen dirt but not often, mostly need wet traction.

I have both Mickey thompson bb a/t and m/t and swap back and forth all the time...If I could only have one it would be the M/T's.. super quiet and smooth for a Mud terrain and look great....the A/T's are nice too.

Are those both 12.5 wide? The m/t looks much wider than the a/t.

If it's primarily street then, in theory, KO3 ATs would be the best fit of those listed. That's assuming that the reviews are accurate.

If mud was a massive concern or if it was more for off roading then I'd probably lean towards the BBMTs.

Keep in mind that 35" KO3s are only available in load range F for now. The ride won't be the best on street.
I'm moving to 35 (35x11.5) from stock KO2s on my 2 door Rubi and after long research my choice was the Toyo AT3's. Also mostly street and some moderate trails. After KO2s my big concern was the wet traction which KO2s suck big time at.

Woah, I thought their 315/70R17 was out in a C or D. An F would really suck on the street and off road.

KO2's in C or D range.
I'm not sure why people are still recommending a decade old tire that's not great at anything. Especially when the person is considering MTs, which implies that mud is most likely a concern. KO2s do OK at everything....but mud.

You need to remove KO3s from your list. As @AK66 noted, they're only available in an F. Those are designed for HD trucks and will ride like shit on a Wrangler, on and off road.

My wife’s Escalade has the KO3s they’re very quiet for a 34”x12” tire. I had it on the naches trail today and the grip was surprisingly good. And obviously the wrangler with 35” pizza cutter MT BB ATs did phenomenal! She shot some short trail videos of me leading the way down to government meadows in the Escalade!

If I were putting a list together, I'd exclude the KO2/KO3 offerings and look at either the Mickey BB AT or the Nitto Ridge Grappler. I have had great experiences with both. Rode the Nittos on my built TJ for over 25K miles before I sold it and they were like velcro on the road and trails. I am seeing the exact same results at about 5K miles on the Mickeys on my JLUR.

The Mickey Thompson Baja's are the best tire I have had in a long time. I was hell bent on putting the BF Goodrich KO2's on (KO3's stink, damn they are F rated, ride like crap.) I run the Mickey T's around 30psi and the ride is amazing 12.5x17x35, and I actually think the 4 wheel traction is better. I have bead lockers and I have had them down to 14 psi. I have always ran BF Goodrich until now.....
