Contiguous wouldn't include Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Lots of definitions of Continental US do.Yep. They have a different per diem request/rate for CONUS vs OCONUS. Same as GSA and other acronym agencies. They do that to keep it simple (and because no one knows “contiguous”).
A fellow man of culture I seeHow about some Craigslist car ads?
Make sure to take a sideways picture at night when the vehicle is dirty and sopping wet, while parked in a coin-op spray wash bay. Get the left door, and the rear at an angle (while blocking out the license plate). That should be enough photos to get them droolin'. Better yet, post two photos of when you bought the car 5 years ago with the temp tags still on it.
If you take a pic of the inside, make sure it's of the passenger rear seat, and sprinkle some dirt on the floor and throw some garbage around. That way the buyer won't have a doubt that it's a USED car, not a new one. One pic is enough, they'll get the idea.
Never state the mileage. Ever. Make sure to leave your phone number like 2-fi-tree, 55-five, won-two-12. And don't accept text messages or emails, those are for the weak!!
Really? I haven’t read a single definition or usage of either continental or contiguous us that includes the territories. It’s always a subset of states + DC. OCONUS includes territories if I remember correctly.Contiguous wouldn't include Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Lots of definitions of Continental US do.
I was apparently mistaken when I had seen that relationship. My bad.Really? I haven’t read a single definition or usage of either continental or contiguous us that includes the territories. It’s always a subset of states + DC. OCONUS includes territories if I remember correctly.
The USGS seems to have the official / logical definition (with Alaska included in Continental), but there's apparently also Conterminous US? Yes, I had to copy / paste that word to get the spelling right.Someone needs to start a CONUS OCONUS Continental Contiguous Poll. We need to clear all this up.
Oh FFS this is way too complicated for me…ok I’ll Google itThe USGS seems to have the official / logical definition (with Alaska included in Continental), but there's apparently also Conterminous US? Yes, I had to copy / paste that word to get the spelling right.
I hadn't stored FFS in the easily accessed section of my brain, so I google'd that too.Oh FFS this is way too complicated for me…ok I’ll Google it![]()
Never make assumptions on the internet or otherwiseI hadn't stored FFS in the easily accessed section of my brain, so I google'd that too.
