Well this post was brought from the dead...
I ended up selling my brand new never used RV trailer never used last year at a nice loss. Unfortunately, prices for the same RV, brand new, were $5000 cheaper last year. I guess I caught the tail end of the Covid camping bump. I also sold our speed boat. I then took the money and put it toward a pontoon that the marina puts in the water and takes out of the lake that I used stress free many times last summer.
Owning an RV was just more hassle than I expected, and as I researched a camping trip out to Yellowstone, staying at a nice campgrounds and along the way is not like the old days where you just show up and grab a great spot. Reservations are needed and in some cases like Yellowstone months in advance. I just don't have time and energy to deal with that and then stay in a tiny RV. I just want to just chill in more luxury on vacations.
We decided to fly out rent a car and stay at a near by VBRO when we go to Yellowstone.
BTW - I did by the Bluetooth brake controller that I never took out of the package and should have sold to the guy who bought the RV. I forgot I had it.
