FYI, the stuffing in the pad is a strip of carpet pad. It's about 3/8" thick.

I have my GMRS radio mounted to it, a gun magnet, sunglasses case, and two small pouches. One of the pouches has cleaning stuff for camera gear and the other one has miscellaneous stuff that my wife puts in her side. Then I have a fixed blade knife mounted on top of the Molle rack that is easy to access but almost impossible to see that it is up there.

Do you have a pic or the fixed blade knife mount? I just installed an MPS overhead panel this weekend.

Think I'm going to have to ditch the jtop and get an overhead panel, MPS makes some great stuff. I have the wheel well panel's and a modified rear panel on custom mounts that tucks away a lot of stuff. It's amazing how many worldly possession's you can stuff in a jlu.

I have the knife held in place with paracord . It is knife my son bought me. It is the knife that is used in a video game called Counter Strike.
