I was in the highly stressful field of fly fishing for most of my adult working life.
Yeah! It’s really stressful when you have to take a break because your arm is stressed from catching to many fish. Just kidding my fly rods are in the shed awaiting my next fly fishing stressful day. Lol.

There are some pretty impressive resumes here. Makes me feel pretty tiny. Lol. 16 years on the production floor for the top go fast v boat boat builder in the world. Company held the speed record for 10 of the 16 years I worked there if memory serves me right. Spent a year working for myself rigging racing boats for an international circuit. Last 13 years I have spent building protypes of new models for the top selling luxury offshore boat builder in the US. Not nearly as luxurious as it sounds. A lot of ot and missed family time. Still trying to decide if I want building boats to be my life long endeavor.

It's one of the big premium TV and streaming services. I wrote the main backend system that our devices and web site interact with. And, of course, lots of other backend systems.

It's not as flashy as IBM, NASA, Raytheon, etc. that I've worked for, but it's an exceptional environment. I plan on eventually retiring here.

Unfortunately the current cancel culture results in people trying to get others fired when they get offended, so I prefer not to mention the name of the company. Not that I would ever, ever say something offensive! ;)
It's ok you can tell us it's Netflix.

My cert group had a few retired military pilots too. A P-3 guy, a S-2, and Jim Ground a AF guy that REOd F-4s, and went on to A-10s.
The back seaters were all crazy! 😂

Yes, I remember a few of the climbers. But we did have one MDC guy that went pretty far up the totem pole, Ali Bahrami. I had great respect for him and traveled to meet with Sturgill a few times about what to do with jackscrews after ASA261. Ali was TAD mgr at that time. Shame he was the fall guy for that 73 stuff. He tried for years to change the adversarial relationship in Seattle.
Both of those were rough times. That sucks that he was the sacrifice.

Retired last month after selling my business. My company provided the hardware and software that is used in well over 100,000 retail stores for overhead music and digital signage. Spent 10 years in broadcast radio and 35 years in the in-store audio and digital signage space. Most people never even think about where the music in major national retailers comes from and how it gets there. Cool little niche space.
