I've had my JLU for almost a year and consistently averaged 22 mpg. Found a gas station that sells no ethanol Premium at 91 octane. Now I'm averaging a solid 23 even with my lead foot. Seems to have made the 2.0 even happier. Can't argue with that.
I stopped looking at gas prices years ago so it's no big deal to me to buy Premium. If I get a chance to do a distance run I expect the average mileage to threaten diesel numbers. Maybe not - it's another excuse to drive the Jeep! Even if I go back to a lower grade, I'm going to skip the ethanol blend. The Jeep seems to like the pure stuff!
