Im wondering if there is a corelation between the clunking issues with M220 (D44) LSD equipped axel and the locking diff on the Rubi?
I wonder if the issue is actually a housing issue ?
here is the 100+ page link for that...
My Wifes 2020 Willys started making the dreaded clunking between 10-20mph at light throttle input..
Is there still not a TSB for this known defect?

If you do a search for clunking noise LSD you will find a hornets nest of the same issue. Apparently there is an issues with the rear diff since 2018. Some people have had all the bearing, ring/pinion replaced only to have the issue come back due to loose tolerances in the LSD carrier.
My wifes...
I threw mine in a bucket on the bench.. They will likely never see the light of day again. The doors function normal, and its one less thing to have to touch going on/off.
I'm no thief, but If I want your doors, a couple of T-50 nuts is not stopping me from taking them.
Just wanted to post about a great experience with a shop in San Antonio.
I had to get the rear diff redone in my Raptor after the Ford dealer screwed it up. I usually do all of my own work, but Diff and Trans stuff, I leave to the experts.
Anyway, I was thoroughly impressed with the Twisted...
I did the same thing when we bought. Its dumb hot here 7 months of the year and the wife has allergies, so top on sealed up is the way she likes it. On our JKUR, I did buy a trek-top (Slant-Back) just to have both a hard and soft.
I really wish our Hard Tops had the option to kick out the side...
Basic spacer if you want to see without spending much from TeraFlex.
I think a 35 will fit as long as wheel back space does not stick wheel out too far.

Man that sucks.
I have not gone through this by any means, but with 2 weeks of ownership and 300 miles, I would be getting in touch with FCA on top of the dealer. Have they offered a loaner or anything.
Sorry just saw the post about the loaner.
Hate to say "get a lawyer" but if they cant come...
Not related to your Service Thread, but found some Trans info on another Off Road Forum that I Re-Posted...
The ZF 8HP is the new transmission coming in the JL, JT and Dodge Ram 1/2 ton trucks and is really one of the biggest upgrades to the new Wrangler, IMO. The ZF 8HP has been used in many...
I see some of these high averages, and just cant imagine how you can achieve those if you drive with any intent. My wife uses her 2020 3.6 to commute to work everyday, with the majority of her daily mileage being the Hwy.
Speed limits in TX and decent so, lets just say she is probably 70-75 mph...
If you are not rubbing at full stuff, then you wont need a bump stop extension unless you added a shock extension.
If you raised the stock shock up with an extender, you will potentially compress the shock completely before the tire is into the fender. The shock will bottom and become your bump...
Play with the crossover first, but also get some time on them.
I find that Kings generally soften up a smidge once they break in. My reference is only from Pre-Runner and class 8 truck, but Kings are Kings.. My personal Fav.
I mentioned this in a different thread, but I chased this exact same thing with our JK. There are 2 things to try that are relatively inexpensive.
1. Try a new stabilizer
2. Rotate tires. The fronts may have worn in funny. Swapping the rears to front should put you back where you started like...
I was trying to find a decent Low CG (2" or less) lift with a multi rate spring a good shock package for my wifes daily 2020 JLU Willy's. I decided that I will wait and build my own adjustable link arms etc once I source a spring and shock that I like. I had followed the thread that @Rubi VT had...
