Hey guys,

I inquired about the modular tire carrier a while back in a different thread. Instead of polluting that one I will just ask here - you mentioned this was in the works. Is there an ETA of when this might be available along with any details (same accessory attachments, etc)? Any pictures you can share of the progress? This is the last major thing I want to add to my Jeep and I've been holding out because I saw the JK version and really, really liked it.

I know, I'm the kid who's asking 'are we there yet?' ... I just can't help it :giggle::fingerscrossed:

Hi @LeoTheDragon,

We are happy to hear how much you liked our JK tire carrier. The JL Tire Carrier is rite around the corner and you will not be disappointed. My best guess 2-3 more weeks. Our first batch of JL Tire carriers are currently at the welding phase. Then they will get cleaned-up and head to finishing (e-coat & powder-coat)

The JL Tire Carrier is very similar to our JK version. Featuring the same:
* smooth one-hand operation cycle
* rattle & vibration free
* modular accessories (for the most part)

Plus some new features:
* new accessories will debut.
* includes super heavy-duty hinge replacements
* and one top-secret trick up our sleeves.

Our Maximus-3 JL Tire Carrier will definitely set the standard. And it's almost here!!

Can't wait! Once you get your first batch in, would they be ready to ship immediately? First come first served, or could I put my name in a hat? :angel:

Will pricing be similar to the JK model?
There will be an increase because the JL version comes with a heavy-duty hinge replacement among other additions and improvements. It will still be a good value for the best engineered JL Tire Carrier. Plus it will NOT damage your tailgate or body-tub...even more built-in value rite there.

Dear JLWF Members,

We are Maximus-3. Founded in 2013 and forged in the Motor City. Maximus-3 designs and manufactures some of the best parts in the industry, proudly made in Detroit, USA. We look forward to interacting with the community and sharing our knowledge.

Thanks to our commitment in quality parts and service, Maximus-3 is highly recommended and reviewed. Maximus-3 gained success in the JK segment with a full line of accessories for the Rubicon 10A/X and Hard Rock bumpers. We took a great OE bumper and made it even better, added functionality and unlimited customization.

Now we are taking our proven JK success and adapting it to the all-new JL Wrangler. We have a long list of JL parts currently available and even more being developed. Including a JL Modular Tire Carrier, JL All-Terrain Suspension System, and many more.

Maximus-3 JL Parts - available now:

· Winch Mounting Plates and Accessories

· Grille Guards (Stinger, Classic Hoop, SLP Hoop)

· JLU Roof Rack System (the strongest rack on the market)

· Towing & Recovery Accessories

· Various Accessory Mounting Brackets

When it comes to Jeep parts there are a lot of options out there, but one thing is certain; you can’t go wrong with Maximus-3. Our parts have been tested and proven on the toughest terrains in the world. We stand behind our parts, and back them up with first-class customer service - plus a great warranty.

Please feel free to message us. We look forward to talking to you.

Cheers, the Maximus-3 crew.
Do you plan on offering any D ring mounts for the stock JL bumpers? It looks like you may have offered them for the JK. Interested in both front and rear. I'm looking for something that either replaces the OEM hooks in the original locations or compliments them nearby (i.e. under the front bumper). I prefer a closed system for towing or being towed.

Good question @55WillysWagon - we have one solution for the factory plastic front bumper (as well as the factory Rubicon steel bumper)...the Maximus-3 JL Tow Loops (part# JL1025TL & 1026TL) https://maximus-3.com/jl-bumper-accessories-/jl-tow-loops#/ For sale now.

Also Maximus-3 is developing a Rear D-Ring Loop too, but it's still in the design phase. Stay tuned

Thanks for the quick response. This looks great. I'll keep an eye out for the rear one in the future

The cutting doesn't look too extensive. Will you be re-installing the splash pan or whatever its called below the bumper? I suspect that needs to slot cut in it?

@55WillysWagon, yes, I re-installed the splash guard right after this photo. The cutting was not to bad, just measured a lot, and took a little bit off at a time.
