I have purchased a Zeon 8s for my Sahara and am having trouble finding the right mounting bolts. I see where you can buy one bolt and one nut at a time on ebay....amounting to over $80....cannot find a kit even on Warn's website. Ideas out there?

Can you get some used bolts for less?

I'm just kidding. Do you have the instruction sheets? It should show the parts list. It might be cheaper to buy some grade-8 at your local hardware store, or possibly contact Warn and ask what the busket of bolts costs.

Warn has great customer service, and if you send them an email, they should be able to help you out.

The badge on the front of my winch faded out after only a few months in the sun, and has actually become tacky from UV degradation, and couldn't find a replacement anywhere online. Finally sent them an email, asked where I could buy one, and how I could keep it from happening again, and they asked for my shipping information, and sent me a full sticker kit, plus TWO replacement badges that arrived about 2 days after my email.

Anyways, my point is that they're pretty great to deal with, and even though you didn't buy it new, they probably won't ask for receipts or anything and try to help you out. Might even be free!

I was missing one for mine. I went to the local Ace hardware, bought a bolt and a serrated hex “whiz” nut. Cost me all of about $2.00. The Whiz nut serrations grip the channel in the winch and prevent it from spinning eliminating the need for a custom sized nut. It has worked just fine even with pulling the winch off a few times.

if you are not familiar, this is a whiz nut…
