Warn 10-S vs. Warn Zeon

No, 4wheel parts has a store close by. Warn stuff was on sale and no sales tax today.
That put it at the Northridge price, no tax or shipping, and an actual store I can complain at if something isn’t right.

My Jeep guys told me that smitty has a problem with the plugs breaking. Hopefully they have fixed it.

No problems yet, have warn steel on my other Jeep both fine guess your Jeep guy would rather sell $2000 winches rather than $800 ones. Have had 5 warns this my first Smiitybuilt like so far.

Estimated 2hrs time at their standard rates. Don’t have the paperwork here right now. Winch was 1180 I think, and plate is two something.

All terrain had the best price I saw today on the 10s-platinium. 1505 with the code. The 10s is $1075 I believe

Order through 4 wheel parts. Got the 10s non platinum with plate for less than 1400.

That’s what I bought. The VR would have worked, but actually seeing both of them side by side made me do Zeon. It’s the same winch that Mopar sells so you know it fits, and Zeons have good resale value.

The Smittybuilt and 10S are on par with each other, with 10S being much cheaper than the Zeon. Neither can compare to the Zeon, with a price tag to match.

Zeon is submersible, which is important to me since I deal with lots of water during FL's wet seasons. The VR is only rated for dust and weather resistant. Plus I liked how Zeon is twice as fast as a VR and pulls less amperage.

I'm not saying VR is a bad winch, it just didn't fit my lifestyle.

I am also from Fl and share the same reasons I went with the Zeon.
