Warn Winch - Cable/Wire Management

Hey everyone, so I just got my Warn EVO 10S winch installed on my 22 Rubicon 4XE, I am a sucker for aesthetics, unfortunately it looks like Warn changed their wiring a bit and I am stuck with the red and black power cables exposed and can't find a good way to safely tuck them away. Any ideas, or solutions that others have done to address this on their JL?

I agree; that looks weird.

I'll go out and look at mine later tonight. From what I can recall, you can loosen the lugs on the back control module and direct the cables downward instead of to the side. You can then tuck them under the grill a bit.

Take the grill off and you can route them below straight down and then put the grill back on. I struggled to reinstall the grill but it was easiest to do this. I also didn't like the gap when looking down so I added the Maximus 3 filler plates. I think the entire setup looks nice when done, but it was pure aesthetic with the plates. I drilled holes in one to attach the tow cable as well, that you will not have.

My Superwinch came with black, but, more importantly for your situation, synthetic fabric sheathed. Looks like there are several options if you amazon "fabric wire loom".

EDIT: you also may be able to source another Warn ground cable and swap it if it's the same AWG and connections, obviously don't get them backwards.

If you're going to put on an angry grill you could wrap them in this tape:

Otherwise you might try black split loom:

I had the angry brow on the JKU and at the end I was like why did I ever do this... but I am definitely in for a roll of the tape just for packaging up Amazon returns!

I have the Arcus bumper, so it is tighter to the grill. My wires go down them over, I lined them up that way.

I just installed the same winch with the same Arcus bumper. It was even more difficult for me, because I wasn't happy with the supplied 4 ga cables, and swapped them out for 1/0 ga copper cables. I had to move things around and modify the corner of the plastic cover to get adequate clearance. There isn't much room with the Arcus bumper, but this is the result.

This looks great, I need to get out there and take another look it looks like my wires are coming straight out of the back of the Winch and I don't have the ability to fish them down like this but I may be way off...

Got mine to look pretty good with just zip ties. I also put a strip of clear bra on the bottom of the grille behind the cables to keep them from chafing the paint. Definitely harder to get a clean cable run with the Evo compared to the Zeon, but at half the price, I'll take it!
