On my 2021, I ordered a visor reinforcement kit to prevent it from breaking in the future. For my 2025, I ordered the same kit but unfortunately, it doesn't fit. Most amazon products say they fit usually up to a 2023.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a 2025?

If it's been redesigned (as evidenced by the old style not fitting) maybe it's now sufficiently reinforced?
I had the same issue. Installed the clips just fine on my 2018, but the same clips would not fit my 2025. The issue is that the screws were bottoming out before they became tight.

So definitely something changed, my guess was with the 2024+ model refresh. Unfortunately, I can't say whether or not the new design is actually any more robust.

The engineer in me says there is no reason to change to change the design unless they fixed an issue. The realistic part of me knows this is Jeep we are talking about.

please don't take this the wrong way, I've had 5 rubicons, I live in Az where I use the visor every drive. Never an issue, what are you doing to break the visor?

This is a common issue. This happened to me with my 2018 under normal use.

My best guess is when the visor is turned to the side window and extended (as it is designed to do) that this creates an excessive moment on the support, and it eventually just wiggles loose. I imagine just folding the visor up/down would not cause it to fail as the weight is supported on both ends.

In all seriousness, my theory is that they intentionally redesigned it so that the clips would NOT work, requiring you to have to spend a buttload of $$$ on the MOPAR part when it does fail.

You must be extremely lucky, these things break as often as Gorilla Glass windshields

Weird. I bought spares in '20 out of paranoia due to the reports of failures here. They're still sitting in a box.

Windshields, on the other hand...

As said, the visor mounting appears to fail when it is stressed from swinging out 90 degrees and extended to better shade the side of the head. My driving regularly has both visors up and down, but only the driver's regularly swings and extends out. After 2 years, guess which one broke and which was still going strong?

Mine are still going strong after 6 years.

I have noticed that a lot of people like to slap, or slam their visors up or down. Same with glove box and console lids.

As my wife always says, her or the kids hang on things and things break.

It's more of an insurance for me. I'd rather spend $15 now than god knows how much later. Yes, I'm a sucker for insurance.
