Adding wiring for Homelink Visor

I have a Willys Sport edition without the convenience group. I want to add Homelink and read the threads on how to do so. However, when I removed the roll bar trim I found that I don’t have any wiring there.
Has anyone with a base sport or willys sport been able to add the wiring? If so, is it plug and play?

Even if you have the wiring the function still needs to be activated. I would check with the dealer to see if you can even get the missing chunk of wire harness. No idea how far under the dash you may have to go to link it.
