Funny you would say that! The seats are close to that after a couple hours.
Check out what @wibornz did to make his seat more comfortable; if I remember correctly he's posted a couple of times about him taking the seat to put better padding in for a few hundred $.

The Full floating rear axle in the 2024 is a nice upgrade

The foam padding construct and material is definitely different. Softer more willing to adjust to your shape. the 2021 I had was rock hard and I basically sat on top of it.

I literally went through your justification process having sunk a lot of money into my 2021.

But I made the financially ridiculous decision and bought the 2024 anyway. After driving it home zero regrets. But I'm also going from the 3.6 to the 392.

Apologies to the OP for the tangent here.
Since you are tall do you find that you hit your head on the newly modified cross bar/ sound bar?

Nope. But I do sit quite upright as I prefer it that way. If I leaned more back I do hit it if I sit straight up. But it's a non issue for me.

The new seats I feel have more adjustments including down travel.

392 with all the extras
One touch top. All the safety items
Adaptive cruise. Plus all the rubicon items. I really like it. I want to get 37 inch tires. 35’s are great but I think with 4.56 gears 37’s will drop my rpm a little on the highway.

I hate red seats in any vehicle, and it kills me that they don't offer something other than the 'boy racer" ridiculous red interior on the 392.
I agree do not like the red seats

Was planning on getting a 2024 Rubicon and went to the dealership and they happened to have this used 392 in the exact color and for almost the same price so I got it instead and so far I love.

Not to rain on your parade... but getting a used 2022/2023 (?) at "almost the same price" as a new '24... at a glance you're already talking a non-xr vs a new '24 (w/ XR) pricing.

Anyway, enjoy the new ride. ? Anything with the 392 in it is alright with me. I do really like the black grill on the white.

The spec'd out 24 Rubicon w/XR was about $75K before taxes and licenses. We got this for $70K out the door. I never say I paid more than a new 24 Rubicon I just said it was about the same as a new one. Considering this one has low mileage, rock engineering steps, upgraded suspension with 35s, winch, some interior upgrades I am more than happy with the price I paid for it over getting a 24 Rubicon.

$75k for a new MY24 392 when & where? That is even MUCH deeper than the dealers selling below invoice. For reference... a ~$90k MSRP '24 Rubicon has an invoice price of over $87k.

$70k OTD (including all taxes & fees) also seems almost too cheap. That was a hell of a deal if that were the case.

$75K for a Rubicon non 392. I wasn't originally looking for a 392 but they had this on the lot and I couldn't believe the price as everyone I had seen even used where in the $80K range so I took it.
