$75K for a Rubicon non 392. I wasn't originally looking for a 392 but they had this on the lot and I couldn't believe the price as everyone I had seen even used where in the $80K range so I took it.
Ahh, I got ya!

for that price, one might as well get a 392. $70-$75k on a v6 rubicon is insane to me. The v8 should also hold value a bit better..especially since 2024 is the final year of production.

That’s also been a love/hate relationship with the wranglers. They hold their values better than most vehicles, but you also need to fork out more cash upfront. So it may seem like you’re getting screwed (more) initially.

The spec'd out 24 Rubicon w/XR was about $75K before taxes and licenses. We got this for $70K out the door. I never say I paid more than a new 24 Rubicon I just said it was about the same as a new one. Considering this one has low mileage, rock engineering steps, upgraded suspension with 35s, winch, some interior upgrades I am more than happy with the price I paid for it over getting a 24 Rubicon.
I think you did well. I prefer the pre-upgrade interior actually and the 3.73s are much nicer for interstate travel with 35"s vs the 4.56s (in my limited comparison with a buddy's XR). Enjoy it.

I drive pass this one on my way to work every morning. It‘s for sale at a Hyundai dealer, and litreally sits on display next to the CDJR dealer I ordered my ’21 392 from. I saw it in my town behind me maybe 2 months ago and then now on that Hyundai lot. It’s just a regular 392, but the Earl color is beautiful. Says its 75K.

If that is truly available for $75K you should buy that and put it on Hemmings. Collectors are already collecting these...

That is exactly what mine was listed for except mine had 9,055 miles on it and we talked them down on the price. I couldn't believe the price to begin with and didn't think they would do anything on the price but they did and they were probably the best dealership I have worked with. They were not pushy and straight up on everything and no extra costs or add-ons like other dealerships try throwing like nitrogen filled tires or leather protection that they supposed already did. Every other used one in this area is in the $80K range with more miles.

Yeah, I don't like the all red interior plus a new one is out of my price range anyways and with them not going to make the 392 I am pretty happy I got one as I think they will only go up in value. It drives pretty nice on the highway with the 35s. I was thinking I might have to regear it but I don't think I will at least while we keep the 35s. I have 35s on my Gladiator with 3.73 and it needs to get regeared but this is a whole different animal.

Yeah I don't see the need honestly. The XR was just announced when I got my allocation but don't think I missed anything. Having the Fox shocks is a bonus too IMO.

You could've gotten a brand new (ordered) 2024 for $80k-$82k depending on options last fall.

That doesn't seem like a horrible price though, given the mileage and year. Assuming its in great shape..

I’ve had each year of 392.
Naturally, I’d recommend the 24 as you get more tech/safety and standard features.

If ‘24 isn’t realistic, go for a 22 or 23 w XR package (4:56s, reinforced tailgate, 35s, etc)

Downside for DDing… I guess I’d say fuel consumption.. averaging ~11 mpg
I feel lucky....Im getting about 12.9mpg daily with 37's. I drive it almost every day and love it!

$75k for a new MY24 392 when & where? That is even MUCH deeper than the dealers selling below invoice. For reference... a ~$90k MSRP '24 Rubicon has an invoice price of over $87k.

$70k OTD (including all taxes & fees) also seems almost too cheap. That was a hell of a deal if that were the case.
I will agree with that, where`s the dealer. Just looking on the website a 392 Rubicon is $94k with delivery included

I clarified in my next post that it was a Standard Rubicon that we were looking at ordering not a 392 when we found this used one.
