My USB in the armrest is completely useless. I cannot charge a phone, connect to the radio, completely dead.
Who has run into this, and is the fix to take it to the dealership?

Thanks, I’m not at home or I’d check the search bar. Pissed me off when the wife went to plug in to be the rolling DJ.

I'd say ultimately will have to take to dealer. Maybe check fuses first. Mine will charge but does not pass data to uconnect....

Same cable, different phone, works for both CarPlay and charge.
Weird question, does the white square around the USB plug sort of light up if it’s operational?

Just went out and checked mine and

Not sure if that is an indicator that the USB is functional. Mine is lit but the port only partially works. I have tried several cables with same result. The USB port on the dash works just fine. There are threads on here on how to reboot the Uconnect but did not do the trick for me. At some point it will make it to the dealer to get them to diagnose.....

Thank you sir! Maybe it’s shoddy USBs in the Jeeps sold in Texas.
True that. I'm going to give the solutions another try as I may have just bungled the attempts on the first go. Maybe I was not crossing my fingers at the right time......
