So this morning I plugged a Usb-c cable in hooked to my android phone. Android Auto worked fine. I leave work today and it no longer works for Android Auto? Tried shutting off for a while, no go. Plugged into the standard USB port and it works fine. Anyone else have it working on Usb-c?

Does the USB-C quick charge for you?

Have to use an official cable. It's finicky. Refer to your quick reference manual.

Bob,
Had same issue with my wife’s phone except the pictures of the contacts disappeared. Idled for an hour, reloaded everything and finally everything to work again. My wife’s droid is old so don’t know if that is it

I had the same issue with my lg v30. It would work for a short time then crash. Rebooting my phone would fix it until it crashed again. Now I switched to the factory supplied usb to usbC cable and it’s been stable, just don’t try to use your phone at all as it will disable AA until you unplug / plug the cable back in.
