Does anyone know if the rear USB's are supposed to light up? Mine work, but no light.
I figured it out. I was in the vehicle earlier checking out some UConnect things and looked at those rear console USB's and back light. I was in a acc. mode. I came in the house when it hit me that the vehicle has to be running! I went out, started up, and there they are back light rear console USB's. Smh. I'm a goof.

So the dealer ordered the rear media hub ports and this seemed to fix my issue. They all work now and the middle compartment one (USB 2) also works now.

Has any stored a lot of music on a thumb drive and played it through the radio? Is that how it works? Or do you have to have on your phone or?

One member has verified that they had no issues using a 128GB USB drive for music. You can play music from either a USB drive or directly from the music stored on your phone.

I only get a staticy sound when the ESS kicks in and shuts off the engine. Not every time, but most of the times. Pretty annoying

What format does the thumb drives need to be in to be used in the USB or USB-C? FAT32, exFAT or something else? I keep getting an error message.

I have tried everything. Two different thumb drives (128GB each) and a regular thumb stick. Either it doesn't see it or it says an error.
