How Is a special order different when it comes to warranty items?
I just meant that a special ordered vehicle is harder to replace. If you bought it off the lot it's probably a common configuration and you could probably find another one. If it was special ordered you'd probably have another 8-12 weeks before you got a replacement, if your options are even still available.

UPDATE: Dealer ended up replacing the 3 o2 sensors, and did extensive testing through driving, scope and other tests. Everything tested fine and consistently within spec. No explanation for the 3 failed sensors other than it could be a manufacturing issue as some others seem to have experienced. Jeep runs like a gem again. Pic is of the diagnosis and engine codes for reference.

We’re living in a time where even freaking O2 sensors are on back order. 🤦🏻‍♂️
A significant amount of parts are on back order. We haven't been able to get thermostats for the 3.6L for nearly 2 years now.

A bunch of suppliers have started to refuse dealing with Stellantis due to them freezing pay. Usually when these parts fail the vehicle is well outside of lemon territory so they don't care if the part takes 6 months to come on. They'll wait until a large enough quantity are needed, pay to make a batch in bulk, then not order any more until that supply is completely depleted.
