I hose off the underside of my Jeep after every snow storm. They spray a lot of brine on New Jersey roads in the winter. Not only does brine stick to the road better; it sticks to your car better. Brine can access nooks and crannies that rock salt can not.

I just got a undercarriage pressure washer from Amazon and am a Noob.
Is it bad to stay in one place, do you need to keep it moving (slow/ fast)?
Any concerns spraying up under the engine bay, do you avoid that area?
What do us winter warriors do when the outside water to the house is shut off and it's freezing out?
I don't know of any undercarriage only washes available (have SOT top) and even there were, it would get covered in salt on the drive back home.
So much to think about

You definitely want to move it around, as leaving it in one place will only get the salt off that one area.

I'm shopping for one of these. Which did you buy? Can you provide a link?

How does everyone wash in the winter? I have all outside water spickets off to avoid pipe freeze. Not to mention the water freezing and getting real messy and slick.

The other problem in the winter is that leftover water in your pressure washer can freeze (if you store it someplace without heat) and ruin the pressure washer.
