Nice, I did a similar mod to my old YJ.
@donmontalvo nobody makes a direct swap for that spot. Your only choice is adapters or to make your own hole and use the one above.

Is that 60W per port? Or shared?

the Powerwerx dual USB-C module I was looking at offers 45W per port.

I had my console panel removed earlier today and noticed the Mini B plugs. My goal is to swap out the USB-A port for a USB-C port, without losing CarPlay capability on the top (“#1”) USB-C port. Wireless CarPlay is a joke from what I’ve seen.

I think I will run a Powerwerx dual USB-C QC 4.0 connector to the front of the center console storage area, facing the cupholders. Will post whatever I come up with.

On a side note, funny how you seem to have your Accessory Port wire taped off with blue painters tape. I removed my Accessory Port so I could install the Redarc dial…but I used black electrical tape to isolate the same wires.

To add extra USB outlets I installed a splitter cable on the back of the cigarette lighter. Then powered a dual USB outlet under the steering wheel behind the plastic panel.

My plan is to put one of these up in the top of the dash in that little cubby. I need a USB-C outlet up there to power my tablet running GAIA when I'm traveling/off-road.

Where is the black USB connected? The gray ends in the radio but the black one is missing in the bundle but the connector in the position in the radio is empty.

My wireless CarPlay works flawlessly! And in the center console at the back there is another usb-c port. At least in my ‘25.

The splitter Cable mentioned above is the best easiest option for adding additional ports. You could then install the ports anywhere convenient, even removing the Media hub and using that area for ports. If you have Aux wires, that's another option for powering ports with control on when they are powered.

Yep, @PrimeTime4370 is correct they're mini, not micro. My mistake.
