I am interpreting this question---perhaps incorrectly--as your desire for a shelf system that is not supported by (soft top) attachment points on the Sports Bar, as some offerings are, given your dedicated use these points for your soft top.

If this conclusion of mine is correct then I am going to bucket my answer into 4 categories.

I am looking for an elevated basket type deal.
The reason for elevated is because I am going on a trip and will be sleeping overnight in the back and need the leg room, but want a shelf for storing items, basically above my feet.

What type of soft top do you have? Fast back type or factory type? I use the rustys basket it works great with my fast back top. I made a drop down bracket so the basket sits lower and closer to the tailgate so my top can come all the way down. It's one of my favorite mods

the drop bracket I made in the pics, moves the basket down and back towards the tailgate. I did this so my soft top would be able to fold all the way down and my rear fastback window wouldn’t hit the basket

I also welded nuts to the back of my custom bracket for easier installation.
