And has nothing to do with the lift install, which is good news for everyone.Oh I will definitely keep this updated! I'll know everything for sure hopefully soon, but yes I expect this is covered 100% under warranty.
Mine started slow and then went into complete failure mode just a few days later. Keep an eye on it for sure!Sorry to hear a/b your troubles. Glad you're keeping us posted though. I searched for P0087 bc my diesel just threw one this weekend. Cleared it and everythings been OK. Watching your progress.
I'm not convinced it has nothing to do with the lift install yet. I'll wait to see what the shop says when (and if) I ever get the Jeep back ;-/And has nothing to do with the lift install, which is good news for everyone.
That's not good! I'm going on a 10+hr road trip to Silver Lake Sand Dunes tomorrow! I recently installed a Derringer/DataMonster and was accelerating like an idiot (showing off to my bother) BS I'm hoping that was it.Mine started slow and then went into complete failure mode just a few days later. Keep an eye on it for sure!
That's what I think also! Jeep is covering this as far as I know, but I won't know for sure until I pick it up! That said, if they conclude it was something caused by the shop and won't cover it, I have the owners word he will take care of it..... he has a great relationship with this dealership so I think I'll be fine. If they say that, this could be a lot of $$$$, they've had the Jeep for almost 2 weeks. Hoping to get it back today or tomorrow...... but I will keep this updatedSorry you’re going through this. What a headache.
My sense, reading the history, is that the shop did something during the install that damaged a ground. It could have been as simple as letting an axle droop too low or something. For your sake I really hope Jeep covers it under warranty. I doubt the shop will admit any fault.
What ground is attached to a suspension part?Sorry you’re going through this. What a headache.

There are electrical connections to the brakes and axles, for starters. What ground is attached to a suspension part?
That’s not how that works. There are electrical connections to the brakes and axles, for starters.
Lol ok.That’s not how that works.
Guessing Jeep will find damage caused by lift install and will not cover this under warranty. It's just way too coincidental that this happened right after they worked on it, to include wiring up a winch. At least the shop says they'll cover it if Jeep won't.That's what I think also!
