Jeff,

Have you disconnected the wire harness normally connected to your Security Gateway (SGW) Module? This connection is under the dash, driver's side. Does SuperChips require an SGW bypass?

Two of the three codes listed are related to just that. The high speed at idle may be due to the automatic idle speed mechanism not being able to send messages over the internal CAN Bus.

Either way, it appears you have a CAN Bus problem.

That is very helpful. I just disconnected the bypass. Hopefully that sorts the issue out. Thank you!

Well, after about 20 more codes showed up, she decided that the engine should quit running. Whatever is wrong seems severe as we reset the codes, even disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, and it won't stay running. First thoughts are that some sort of critter has feasted on some of the electrical dodads.

Will do. The only thing done recently is install the Oracle tail lights. But I don't see how that could cause all of these issues.

Clearing codes:
1. Fixes nothing
2. Deletes important diagnostic data

I understand that. Originally I thought it was an issue after installing the tail lights. After it came back I understood that to not be the case.

The high idle code requires rpm 200 above requested idle speed for 30 sec with no throttle input. Likely causes: bad throttle body, or vacuum leak.

Hopefully I hear back from them tomorrow. 👍

They installed the new radio, and it seems like that fixed the issues. However the Mopar engineer wants to swap computers too as there may be an underlying issue. I am picking it up today. But the new pcm won't be in for about a month. Here's to hoping I don't get stranded out in the middle of nowhere.

That sounds like some pretty extreme guesswork.
