TPMS problems 2020 to 2021

We have 2021 rubicon wrangler xr and a 2020 rubicon gladiator, I have put rims and tires from 21 xr on gladiator and was going to gladiator rims on xr , local tire store said no problem. I drove 20 gladiator today with 21 xr rims it now say tire monitor problem. What is going on is their a inexpensive fix? Thanks

TPMS changed mid 21. Is yours a past mid year build ? If so you should have swapped the sensors. sorry

In the case that the sensors are compatible, I usually get the service TPMS light after tire rotations until the second or third trip.

My left sensors display on the right and the rights display on the left. No idea why.

There was a sensor change ~June 2021. If you swap pre June 21 onto a post June 21 the TPMS won’t see the ‘em

So is there fix on a 2018 JL? My sensors are the originals.

I think all the sensors have a battery? so if yours stopped working and you didn’t swap wheels, that’s what I would check

it happened with a 5 tire rotation. The 2 tires it does recognize are in their previous positions also. I will swing by discount tire see if they can see them with a sensor.

FWIW, many tire centers have sensor solutions that are cheaper than OEM.
