Anyone have this problem....
Went to Discount tires and had new tires, wheels and TPMS sensors installed....The TPMS on the Jeep is not reading the tire pressure on any tire. Brought it back the next day and had it checked....all the sensors are transmitting but not being picked up by the Jeep system. Have to go back again on Monday to check if they installed the correct frequency for the sensors, apparently there's 2 frequencies 315mhz or 433mhz....not sure which one the 392 uses....

Same thing here. Had to take OEM wheels and tires back to Discount Tire and all 10 had to be taken apart and put OEM TPMS sensors in new wheels and tires. Works fine now. Manager mentioned something about the model year being 2021 but the Jeep was produced when 2022 model years usually come out. So maybe the sensors on aftermarket sensors need to be calibrated to a 2022 vehicle?

QT has an aftermarket one out now as well. I think it's the same price,

Has anyone had the dealer reprogram the TPMS receiver module to work with the non-OEM sensors?

Short answer NO. Can't happen.

As for your second part Does not matter if you have an OE sensor, an OEM sensor or a non-OEM sensor that is programmable. It is all about having the correct protocol to talk to your Jeep. Any and all of those three will work as long as you have the correct protocol.

For example, a 2019 JL takes an OEM sensor part # 68406537AA (or various other part numbers that are all the same sensor just for different FCA vehicles). The OE sensor is a Schrader 20398 or a 29093 (20398 being discontinued for the 29093) or you could get any number of "programmable" TPMS (stick with the better brands and away form the cheap Chinese TPMS brands) as long as the shop has the tool and knows how to program them.

Hope that helps.
