Hey, thanks y'all!! I definitely got the answer I was hoping for -- basically, most Jeepers won't care, do whatever the hell I want to, don't put a 392 label on the body, and have fun with MY JEEP!!
Thanks all, this is a great forum. I appreciate each and every answer... even the guy who thought Snazzberry was "purple!" ?
And I'm so grateful to have a gunmetal grey dash instead of a red one!? But power to those who do, and like it?
you had me on board with you until you made fun of my red dash.... Don't you dare put gold hooks on... people will talk!!! ?

BTW... IDGAF what you think of my dash...hahaha

I snagged the 392 wheels because I thought they looked amazing, bought a steel bumper that happened to also be from a 392 (gold hooks) and was gifted 392 shocks and springs... I don't think anyone cares. Do what you want? My jeep drives amazing and looks perfect to me, so do it up!

Because it says Rubicon in the name
Of course!

You should see how much the MOAB versions cost. *Likely because they are made from 100 percent pure “unobtainium”.

Jeep should offer a blackout package, separate from color. I'd have easily gone Rubicon instead of Sahara if I could've paid ~$300 for a blackout kit. They have the parts, take our money.

I'd have paid $300 to get rid of the red dash/stitching alone TBH.
This.

Ugh damnit I know but this package wasn't offfered in 2021. It would have been my *perfect* Jeep build. I think I missed it by a year or two. :(
I ordered my 2020 Sahara in September of 2019. I was told MOABs were no longer being produced at that point. Ruined my entire mood. I wasn't going to get a Rubi for all of the aforementioned "red" issues.

Little by little have been replacing all the silver/gray elements with black. It's a process.

I haven't done it yet, but been thinking about body colored tow hooks(white in my case). Its just a thought...
Maybe something along the lines of graphite to match your rims? Either way, white would be easy to mock up with some paper and scotch tape before breaking out the rattle can! ?.

I think you should go with the gold hooks. And then to really mess with people, find a 4XE charging cover and glue that on your Jeep. It'll confuse the shit out of everyone.

I've got a Snazzberry JLU Sport (Altitude) that has all black trim (no chrome or silver). It came with black tow hooks, but as I'm switching out the OEM front plastic bumper with a steel Rubicon take-off, I'm considering switching out the red Rubicon hooks for some gold/bronze 392 take-off hooks. My question is, does the Jeep community frown on switching tow hook colors, since they are clearly (originally) associated with a particular model? I'm not wanting to try and pass off my sport as a 392.... I just like how the gold would accent my color scheme.
Thoughts?
The bronze hooks are not what's going to be noticed to suggest that it's a 392. The hood scoop with the 392 emblems on both sides is. Go with bronze hooks, no one will care.

I also have a spare 392 dash I bought for my gladiator.. but I sold the gladiator lol..

Swap away dude.. it's a plug and play OEM item.. anyone who scoffs needs a smack
