Other than the enjoyment I get watching desert trophy truck racing (or even stadium supertruck racing), I have never been an "off-roader" ... I have always liked Jeeps and when I had the opportunity to purchase one I took it. I love my bone stock Wrangler and drive it almost daily (I have two...
Generation Xer checking in. Waited too long in life to buy my Jeep. Happy to have scratched that itch. I love my Wrangler! PS - My next car purchase will be a Corvette (awaiting an allocation)
No regrets really .. but if I have to find something, I think I would have liked getting whatever option that would have given me the largest touch screen. I am super envious of the current wranglers huge touch screen #screenenvy
The cars I cross shopped against the Wrangler were a Camaro 1LE, a MINI Cooper JCW and a Miata Club. Jeep is paid off now so currently I am likely to get a Camaro CE once the order banks open this summer. I still foresee a Miata in my future at some point though
No pics, but I love my BestTop sunrider. Completely transformed the driving experience. Goes up or down in less than three seconds and I can do either while being fully belted in my seat. Love it.
I am in the same situation. Had my rear seat folded forward for 99% of the time since receiving my Jeep. Yesterday I put the rear seat back in place while cleaning the interior. I drive to work this morning and then tried to fold the rear seat down and bupkis. The seat back folds down, but the...
I had been averaging 17mpg in almost all city commuter driving, with stock wheels/tires and automatic transmission. Then I replaced the stock air filter with a K&N filter. Stock airbox remains. At first my mileage went up to 18mpg ... but then after a coople weeks or so (I drive my Jeep 2-3...
I used to leave it on, but I found myself waiting/hesitating at stop lights waiting for the engine to fire up before actively getting on the gas. It became annoying so now I turn it off right away after starting up. Turning it off right away has become a non conscious habit at this point, so for...
The best part of having a besttop is that from a seated, belted in, position I can open or close the top in about 4 seconds. I never have to put it in park & get out of the car to sequentially take one and then other top off to transfer them to the rear (or in reverse putting them back on) and I...
I have done 4 out of your 5 listed (have not done a window tint). I would add getting a besttop to replace the freedom panels as a top 5 mod for those with hard top Wranglers. It is by far the favorite mod I have done to my Jeep. Totally transformed the experience of owning/driving a Wragler. I...
After a lot of consideration I decided to extend my coverage. OEM warranty expires in August. I went with the top MOPAR MVP plan for 5 yrs or 60K mi (my Jeep only has 5K mi on it despite being three years old - it's a second car and also because, well ... you know ... #rona ).. cost me $2K with...
On my third aftermarket antenna :smh: first went with a 7" one (totally useless but looked cool), then went to a 13" one hoping it would work satisfactorily (twice as well because it was twice as tall?), but no not much better than the 7" .. now I am up to a 17" antenna and I can live with it...
Of the choices given I would choose Silver. I like the look of a good metallic Silver with satin black accents. My other car is a Silver Scion xB - 16 years old but it still gleams in the sun and hides Chicago spring/fall/winter grime very well.
Welp, I was debating whether or not to get the Mopar Extended service plan before the factory warranty runs out in August ... I guess this makes my decision easier. FWIW I haven't really noticed any unusual ticking coming from my Jeep .. but then again, I haven't really been listening either and...
Yeah I wrongly assumed that the Jeep dealer would do a five tire rotation the first time I had my tires rotated. Next time I will specify a 5 tire rotation. Hope it doesn't cost more or at least not too much more than a 4 tire rotation.
