One of the things I negotiated with my dealer was getting rid of all the red for the gold/bronze. IMO it looks better with the sting gray. I also got the tan seats just so there would be no red inside either.

Hey, thanks y'all!! I definitely got the answer I was hoping for -- basically, most Jeepers won't care, do whatever the hell I want to, don't put a 392 label on the body, and have fun with MY JEEP!!
Thanks all, this is a great forum. I appreciate each and every answer... even the guy who thought Snazzberry was "purple!" ?
And I'm so grateful to have a gunmetal grey dash instead of a red one!? But power to those who do, and like it?
About tow hooks... my Jeep 4xe has sky blue tow hooks. It's a nod to the hybrid so it seems appropriate. Blue for electricness (new word I guess).

Like all the folks here say... it's your Jeep, it's job is to make you smile. If it happens to make someone else smile (and you bet it will) that's a bonus. Post a photo of it (or DM it to me).
Ride on good sir.

Putting aside the fact that it's your Jeep and you should do what makes you happy, I think most people will realize you're just customizing your accents instead of pretending you have the Hemi. Anyone who is in the know enough to equate bronze tow hooks with 392 will also notice you didn't slap on the Rubicon or 392 badge.

Thanks for that! That's definitely what I was hoping for.

A fine way to put it. Thanks for that. I'll try to remember to post a photo back to this thread when it's done!

I think you made some excellent choices there. That is a fine looking rig!
What wheels do you have there? And are they true beadlocks?

I have a rear bronze tow hook off my old 392 if you’re interested!
YES!!!
Can you DM me directly?
(Not sure how, maybe through my avatar? I'm still figuring out how to use all features of this forum)

Personally, I'm very sensitive to the colors of tow hooks and decorations on Jeeps and about people who worry about them. I can't sleep most nights just thinking about what it all means. I guess I need to drink more.
Raising a glass of fine red to you, sir...

The answer in short is "Probably Not". The " RubiSnobs" might have, but the 392 owners are too few to care. Also, they are having too much fun with that 392 under the hood, to care about the color of a little tow hook.
Well. That's a good point.

How many of us had or currently have takeoff wheels, tires, and suspensions from rubicons on their sports? Same thing- just parts that make make your Jeep perform or look better. My sport came with the full takeoff package from the dealer for free so the could move the red ‘18 Jeep out of the sea of ‘19 stingray ones. They even installed the side steps off a Sahara. Always wanting the red tow hooks was the first peek into the rabbit hole for me.
Rabbit hole, yes... ain't that the truth!

I think the Snazzbery hooks would look good. Depends on price though
I do think it would look good! But... very small town, no good body shops or powder coaters nearby. Honestly it's easier and cheaper to just buy existing-color take-offs. Plus I'm happy with the bronze accent.

They are the wheels that come with the XR package

I'm in the middle of my red swap out. Still waiting on decals. I painted the tow hooks myself and ordered the badges.

Hey! A nice look at "Earl"!! Thanks for sharing the photos. I think the blue looks fantastic on that body color.?
Nice matching badges -- and definitely post a photo with the new decals on, too!
