Agree, I have been using the premium for the past few months and have noticed a big difference in mileage per tank.I use 91 0ctane non ethanol Mobil. It costs $3.09 per gallon. It definitely improves mileage.Use it in the Allroad and my bike. Top tier
Im not sure if it is a scam, but this consumer reports article seems to think not. It's a complete scam the entire Top Tier branding. A money grab.
Do yourself a favor and save some $$$$ and run a can of Seafoam through the intake every 10k miles or so.
All my vehicles run better and get better mileage on high test non ethanol. NO SCAMIm not sure if it is a scam, but this consumer reports article seems to think not.

Yes it is. I "grew up" in the petroleum business and this program is sold to big-petroleum companies as a margin-enhancer and a way to combat "gar price wars" by having a differentiator.Actually, it is not a scam. No need for the Seafoam if you are running Top Tier.
I run only top tier in all of my engines. The only time I deviate is if there are no other options. My JK 3.8 develops carbon buildup and pings like crazy on lesser gas.
Here is a study done by AAA that shows its benefits are clear.

Why do I get better mileage with 91 octane hi test non ethanol than I do with 93 0ctane ethanol gas ? And way better mileage than 87 octane regularYes it is. This is a MARKETING program to improve MARGINS and nothing to do with a better product to the consumers.
I think 91 octane is recommended for the 4cyl turboWhatever the octane in the manual says I run. It's not an F1 car. It's an engine that will out live my intended vehicle lifespan. I am not discounting the fact that there is a difference in each fuel, I am not consuming it. I will take the extra cash to use for other maintenance.
Yes, I believe that's correct. It's why I like the 3.6 a bunch more than the 2.0.I think 91 octane is recommended for the 4cyl turbo
You are mixing up TopTier "branded" gas versus just good gas.Why do I get better mileage with 91 octane hi test non ethanol than I do with 93 0ctane ethanol gas ? And way better mileage than 87 octane regular
Nope it’s reg 87.I think 91 octane is recommended for the 4cyl turbo
