  1. Market crash = My Jeep dreams are put on hold :-(

The worse thing about this is that the lessons we learn won’t be implemented. We can’t think farther than the end of our noses and deserve everything we get for being so greedy.
  2. Jeep owners probably most prepared for Corona Virus

We need leadership from the central government during these events. How can 50 states and territories develop 50+ different solutions for this? It’s obvious that the current administration is concerned about the upcoming election than be a humanitarian to the public.
  3. Jeep owners probably most prepared for Corona Virus

Good for you. Did the outcomes ever change? People are still fighting over a deity that has never been seen, unless you count water on plaster board or a piece of toast. It’s a truthful observation. The tooth fairy is equal to prayer. Provide me with evidence otherwise and I will reconsider my...
  4. Coronavirus and Dealer Discounts

Corona or not those prices are ridiculous.
  5. Jeep owners probably most prepared for Corona Virus

More evidence that praying is useless. It’s funny listening to people in charge of this country and the news telling people to pray.
  6. 2018 JL Clutch Question

That’s terrible. I had two manual transmission Xterras and they both performed flawlessly. Second one had 130k and was still really strong when I traded it in.
  7. Have an EcoDiesel JL Sahara for the week...some observations.

Fuel prices vary significantly across the country. Currently diesel is at least .50 cents more / gallon in my area.
  8. Positive Dealer Service Experience

Good for you. The economy could never function without shallow thinking. And since you have not had any real dealer experience your comments are useless to this thread. I have patronized several asshole mechanics and trusted them since they were concerned about the quality of their work, not...
  9. Positive Dealer Service Experience

Friendly does not get anything accomplished for you. Many people are friendly, but I am not using that as a guide for using a business. You can take you vehicle back to a “friendly” dealership numerous times to get the same thing “fixed”. That’s called wasting my time.
  10. First real life look at Sarge Green JL [more photos added]

Adding a color to the Jeep site would take a developer less than ten minutes of real work time.
  11. Sooo issues with my '18 JLU Sahara

You don’t buy a wrangler for reliability, that’s called a Toyota. If you want something that no other vehicle can do get a wrangler and suffer with the flaws.
  12. Positive Dealer Service Experience

I thought the service and sales departments depend on getting excellent scores from customers to maintain a certain status of service. I guess that’s not true now.
  13. Emergency snow shovels?

I bought an army surplus folding fox hole shovel that works great. I also picked up a short pick too. Both come in handy regularly for general yard work to keep me using them. They both fit inside the vehicle.
  14. Got hit today

We are both in Texas and I did lots of research on the subject. Insurance won’t simply pay diminished value since the expectation is that the vehicle repairs are done correctly so no real loss to the owner. It’s in their dna to make things difficult. The longer you keep the vehicle the less the...
  15. Got hit today

Diminished value only applies when you sell the vehicle. It also will cost about $400.00 to have an appraisal performed. Been through this with USAA.
  16. Got hit today

I have never “taken money” from a claim. I have always dropped it off at the shop I prefer and call my insurance to handle the paperwork. That’s why you pay for insurance.
  17. 2019 JLU Sahara depreciated 42% in 10 months

It’s to provide people with what they experienced while testing and/or owning a vehicle. When I research a product I use what people say as a set of data to use to evaluate. Not everyone cares be sensitive about how their vehicle drives. I know everything about how my vehicle feels and am...
  18. Trade lr4 for Sahara unlimited

If it’s one that was built well keep it. The JL build quality is not something I would trust currently. Most people get excited about new shiny stuff. Use your instincts, not your feelings.
  19. Looks Like Ford Bronco is Serious About Taking on the Wrangler

The build quality and dealer support can surely beat FCA. I would be seriously interested in one if the interior is configured to hold my emergency stuff without compromising the configuration too much. I am getting less interested in a solid axle, so that might be the reason for me to pass and...
