No worries bud, each to their own. But come on... you have to agree... my suggestion would be better than the lights the OP initially posted...
Plus, they are similar to the ones in the bottom of your bumper...

Just so we're clear those Amber clearance lights are intended for commercial vehicles. The three lights close together in the middle signify that is a wider than normal vehicle. The two outside lights are supposed to be as far outboard as possible to show the width in the dark. Those lights are not intended for normal vehicles.


Fun fact a lot of people don't know Ford didn't put the three amber lights on the front of the Raptor because they thought it looked cool but because it's so wide it was required by law.

Interesting, I never paid attention to the TRX and didn't know they put their marker lights in the hood scoop.

Look man I am a firm believer in if you like it then rock it. I can’t stand those angry grills but other people like how they look. I’m not gonna bash them for that. I have the quadratec j6 light bar that also has amber led in it just like that. Does it serve any functional purpose? No, it does not other than the sole purpose of making me smile because I like how it looks. That is all that matters in the end. My only remark about the ones you like is you better love them if you’re going to be drilling into your roof

Absolutely, if you like it then you are free to do it and I am free to insult it if I want to.
No one is telling him he CAN’T do it, we are just trying to steer him in the direction of not looking like a complete douchebag.
I mean you are still free to wear a skin tight Aflliction t-shirt and a flat brim but don’t think you are going to get many positive reactions from it.

They look good in the grill. There are plenty of companies that make these, more $ will get you something more vehicle specific, but these are universal and work well. They function nicely with the oem aux switches (if you have them).

You did not offend at all and yes, I took your suggestion and bought those lights (they happened to be on 'overstock' sale ?). Some other comments though are over the top such as 'if you don't drive your jeep off road I shit on you'. That could be in fun too, but a bit rough.

Yes, I saw that sale... man if I didn't already have a set I would take advantage... maybe I can "find" somewhere to install a second set ! Ha ha

*Follow-up: I just checked, the same set for the JT is $60. The pictures look exactly the same, I wonder why the JL and the JT sets aren't compatible ? But they list them as not being. ?
