Just ask @cosine he knows!
I’d stay away from the Mopar door sill guards. They are designed to look pretty but are too small to “guard” anything.

I tried the Mopar guards, the Fishbone Offroad and the Quadratec sill guards. The Quadratecs do the best job in my experience.

I’ve seen fellow members cover that area with 3M clear film or with rubberized vinyl film instead. That’s a brilliant idea. The film will protect your door sills while preventing your rubber seals from pinching.
x2 on the quadratec guards, very happy w/ mine. Also love the Rugged Ridge floor mats (2dr), fit perfect and the deep tread on them works well and looks proper :)

I had a stubby and it was awful, so swapped the whip oem back on plus a few cotes of matte black. Mud flaps are a great idea, I already got a hinge chip.
I literally got 2 chips day 2 and haven’t had another in 2 years now. Not even in winter and have no mudflaps in the front. So wacky.

Door sill guards. Clear film works even better.

Front mud flaps if you don’t want the paint on your door hinges chipped.

Be aware that a stubby antenna will hinder reception.
Those are the first two I did. The (front only) mud flaps I unfortunately added only after my first trip down gravel. Them hinges are rock magnets.

Next up will be hinge covers, to hide all those dang paint chips.

Yes. Your hinges are completely exposed with those rock rails.

Last week I test drove a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon with 19,000 miles: the paint on the hinges on all four doors were completely chipped off.

You will need to look at aftermarket mud flaps, though. My understanding is the Mopar ones don’t work with the rock rails.
I had my Mopar mudflaps cut to fit around the rock rails on a band saw. Worked like a charm and you can’t see they were modified. I don’t think I would have had to do that though had I bought the Rubicon versions (my Islander is a Sport S but which comes with Rubicon rock rails - I didn’t think that through).

I haven’t had a rock chip since I installed them (not to jinx it)
