I would have gone with installing these over breaking my foot but you do you.

Hope you get better soon. Make them give you a handicap sticker with a really long time before it expires
I would have preferred installing these too! You live and learn I guess.

I got them too. Warm weather coming this week. I have a lot to do, but maybe I can squeeze this in.

I also got that in the mail. It was an easy upgrade and it really quiets the doors back down. It does make the pin kind of hard to get the pin in and out. I’m thinking about trying to sand the inside of the barrel a little.

I don’t know what happened but I searched his user name and can’t even find the original post where he offered these up.

This is offered at $89.99. Seems like he's trying to recoup his costs for development in a couple of weeks. I was thinking I'd pay $15 or $20 for it. Guess not

It's not realistic to expect to pay for materials and workmanship only. There is also development and innovation in it that has value. Sure, it's simple, some of the best designs are. I guess if you wait awhile Amazon will have a Chinese knockoff under the AWJHBKJE brand.

i started putting mine in the other day. the first one, i ended up finally using a cut off wheel and cut the damn things off. I tried the drill bit he sent, after one pin it stopped really doing much. like others said the first one was a freaking nightmare to get the pin to go in and out with some ease. i did finally get it to work, i put a little grease on it to help. the 2nd one went fine. i have to do my front doors still. nice idea, but, 90$ nice. i can pop my doors off in 5 minutes using my milwaukee bit driver to undo the bolt. i dont have my hinge bolts in.

So, I’ve only installed one so far. I did it before he sent out the bushings…it definitely popped a lot. Plus, as Punknhed stated, I had to get a dremel tool to cut out the OEM one. Drilling wasn’t working for me. The bushing definitely took care of the popping sound.

I really do like these brackets, but I will also say that it wasn’t a hassle by any means to take the doors off before. I always had the bit in my Jeep and I just used a cordless drill with the bit to remove them. But, these brackets will definitely save me about 5 mins or so. If I didn’t already have them, I would pay the $90 for them. Worth every penny.
