'20 2 door sport s here.
I've a rubicon take off suspension that cost $100, giving me a 2.5" loft. I've since replaced the ruby shocks with Bilstien 1500's ( huge improvement ).
I'm a daily driver who often uses the jeep for work delivering mail and off roads fairly regularly.
For tires, I have over 40k miles on a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 185/70 17's and they have been fantastic in all weather on and off the pavement.

I put Toyo Open Country RT Trail tires on my 2 door back in the fall. I’m really liking them, ride comfort, noise, looks are so much better than the stock Firestones. 285/70R17C. About as big as you can go without a lift or gear change.

What bumpers did you go with?

You can easily fit 285/75r17 on the sport. I'm running the BFG Ko2 and highly recommend them.

I have got myself falken wildpeak a few days back. Feels good.

Also, do I have to change spare carrier to hold 28570R17?

Mine fits now on the stock carrier. There's like a paper gap between tire and bumber. The light is kinda tight

Same here, but if I ever need one. I'll spend the extra bucks. I had my spare tire off one time, I closed the tailgate and almost slammed it through the front windshield it was so light without the tire on it. I don't want any extra weight on my tailgate.

How are the KC lights mounted to your bumper? DId you use existing holes or some type of mount?
existing holes.

This set is is halogen and has spot lenses, and I snagged a used LED set that I want to put driving lenses on to complement. Not sure how I’ll mount that one, or if I will move the existing ones around.

any ideas?

Not sure. I have that same bumper, but have just started looking at putting lights on it. I have LEDs on my cowl on my JK which has worked out well.

Also I've come across a set of wheels and tires for 2k. It's LT285/70R17 falken widepeak AT. What do you suggest? Yes, these are great tires! The older tires are the Wildpeak A/T3's, the newer ones are A/T4's. We have both on our Family Wranglers, and I would purchase then again..:like:

No. "If" the 3rd brake light is now covered by the tire, your carrier is adjustable to raise it. As far as strength of the carrier, gate, and hinges, you are ok as-is.
