My new tires had 2500 miles on them when I left on a summer trip towing the Jeep behind my RV. By the time I get home I'll add about 2000 miles of driving and 3200 miles being towed. Is almost 8000 miles of wear too late to include the brand new spare int the rotation? In hindsight I should have done a 5 wheel rotation before I left but too late now.
My intent when I put on new tires was to do 5 wheel rotations to get maximum life. Even if I have to go with 4 wheel rotations the tires will probably age out before they wear out.
