I have that as a backup but it stinks for a regular use on once you get old enough that you don't want to bend over and your knees hurt if you squat.
I use this exclusively and am always deflated before my son can deflate his with his fancy 4-way hookup. I'm 78, but solve the knee/bend over problem by having a foam pad I can put one knee on. Works great.

I too, use a set of 4 Staun deflators, but use a Viair compressor to reinflate.
Yup - my little Viair 300 works great on the inflate (have a DYI 4-tire hose setup).

The older I get the lazier I am getting. With these TeraFlex Nomdas, by the time I walk around the Jeep the tires are deflated to their pre-set PSI

That's a cool looking idea but I'm not interested in changing the entire wheel. Had no clue that Teraflex even made wheels.

There is no way that I am hooking up my MorrFlate to air down. I connect my Stauns, get my Jeep ready; which is putting the recovery gear within reach of the driver's seat, firing up my Inreach, sending a message that I am about to start, fire up ON-X and get a drink out of the fridge and by the time I am done, so are the tires.
Other than the OnX, the drink and the fridge, I have no idea what these things are or do. ;)

I had some APEX RPV Valves and they are extremely fast. They also have RCV air deflators that hook directly to the valve stem. I haven't used them but if they are the same quality as the RPV Valves they'd work excellent though not as fast as the RPV.

RCV Valves

RPV Valves
Those look bad ass!
Not ready to replace the stems but I can see that being an option next time I get tires.

I installed some Apex RPV deflators in my wheels before my last trail run. I deflated all 4 tires in under a couple minutes from opening the door. I doubt there is anything faster out there. No hoses, no screw on deflators, nada.

My 37s will go from 30 down to 15 in about 15 seconds or less. You simply remove the cap and lift the tab of the sleeve, while holding your gauge on the schrader end and watch the pressure drop to the desired number, then push the tab down. It goes down so fast you could overshoot your desired setting if you aren't watching carefully.

The last time (last weekend) we went wheeling, one of the guys removed two of my deflators and spun the collars, rendering my 12 pound setting useless. Now I have to reset them. Anything on the Staun that prevents accidental turning of the knob/collar ring?

Apex rapid deflators are a good solution. Have them on my rigs and just walk around, hook up tire gauge and let it deflate quickly. 38" tires @ 35ish lbs down to 6.5-8.5 in seconds, generally just over a lb per second.

There's an option out there to suit everyone's needs.
Personally I used to use the single tire deflators that remove the valve core and staun deflators over the years.
The single tire deflator was a pain in the butt having to kneel at every tire and the stauns were never consistent and behaved differently depending on ambient temp as well.

Yes I work for MORRFlate but it all just makes sense with multi tire deflation and inflation. The fact its quicker and more convenient had me sold before I even moved into this position.

For those who care, our kits are all hand made here in Sacramento California not ordered from china then claim to be "assembled in USA". Plus we as a business donated over $50,000 in 2023 to trail advocacy programs in the USA. Helping keeping trails open for you to use.

If you have any questions. Feel free to DM me or contact us at MORRFlate.

There is a Discount code for JL Wrangler forum members.

Use SKÖG Chuck Mates so you don't have to screw on and off the Stauns. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09LZYPCNW/)

They also have a pouch to accommodate the Stauns with attached clips. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09M8Z4QL7/)

I use a Gerber when deflating other people's tires. For mine, I just use a stick or whatever is handy to of down the valve.

When I went to a larger tire I needed a wider wheel with a better backspace. These TeraFlex Nomad wheels had the width and offset I was looking for, have $7 removeable/replaceable rash guards to protect the edges, are knurled on the inside to keep the tire from slipping when aired down, and the color matches well with my Sting Grey paint. The rapid deflators are just icing on the cake. TeraFlex makes a full beadlock version but I am more of a weekend warrior than full-time rock crawler so I went with the Nomad version. Here is the beadlock version:

I love the Apex deflators BUT they are fragile and depending on which wheel you are using they are prone to be snapped of by passing rocks.... Hutchison Rockmonsters for example...
