Two blocks from home and got caught in a thunderstorm with hail. First time I've seen hail here in 20 years. It was 1/4 inch but on the hard top it was really loud even with the insulated top. Pulled into the carport and decided to wash and check the next day. Checked this am and wash not a mark. I believe the ceramic coat I applied protected the finish as I applied two coats. I think I'll do another one . Easy peasy wipe on wipe off. I will attach photos off the product.

As I said in your other thread on the same topic: you're thinking wax protected your Jeep from hail?
As I said, to a certain extent.

are you shilling for this product or something?
the other thread you started didn't have a dramatic enough title, so you added a Thunderstorm?

No! Ididn’t know it went. So I redid it my bad. Not to swift on tech. I got the product at O’Reilys A guy used it and said it was easy and worked great on his vehicles. First ceramic product I’ve tried. Chill.

I really think hes onto something here with this wax theory. I appreciate this gentlemans confidence in this product. I for one am certainly going to give it a try, what do I have to lose. However, I still hope I don't get caught in a hail storm but if I do, I'll have a darn good coat of Griots 3 in 1 wax on my roof. 👍

I made sure to let it seep in around all hinges etc as a moisture preventive after it was dry and buffed I put dialectic grease in and around all hinges. Been doing this since 2020. So far so good. 😊

As I said, to a certain extent.
Your memory might be a bit off. Here's what you said:
I believe the ceramic coat I applied protected the finish as I applied two coats.
And if that "to a certain extent" means something more than "to an infinitesimal extent", then no, that's still "a bit off".

time to get a soft top in case you get bigger hail. The windshield should be vertical enough to avoid any hail damage and the hood can also cover the windshield if need be. Can also take out your cargo floor to cover your hood/engine
