I've been looking to upgrade my 2018s and agreed 2024 jeep prices are insane. I'm looking at 2023s now. I think you are doing the right thing. It looks pretty good. Not a bad price. Low mileage. I'd definitely consider that one if I wanted a 392. I'm looking at a 4xe right now, but a 392 would be a lot of fun.
Its funny, but you are in Denver. I'm in aurora. The issue that I had getting a 392 is we take a big power hit up here at 5 to 6000 feet. I thought a 4xe might be better since it is half electric motor and the torque would be nice. I'd be interested to see how a 392 and 4xe would stack up at elevation. I'm sure its still more than fast enough, but I know my 5.0 mustang was just getting horrible 0-60 times up here by my house vs the guys at sea level.

Altitude issue now correctable in all states, Gen 6 Whipple just CARB approved — $9495.99 (black)

My 22 392 non XR had a crooked exhaust from the factory, no big deal. I fixed mine with an AWE cat back and love it. Even with the 3.73 gears and 35s it rides and accelerates great. I still giggle like a kid ever time I drive it.
As for the one you linked, low mileage and a decent price, I’d give it a good look over and a nice long test drive but nothing in the pictures scare me. Even being dirty, mine has never been in mud or anything but has seen its share of forest roads. It gets just as dusty as the one in the link, dust doesn’t indicate abuse.

best of luck with your decision.

Just looking at it from a different angle, but what's up with the new owner/lien being reported on the carfax 4 days ago? Is it even available?

At first I thought that was for the 3.6.....but Noooooo OMG. I can only imagine the power that thing puts out. Yes, that will definitely correct for elevation. Isnt it something like 5 percent loss for N/A engines per 1000 feet vs 1 percent for forced induction.

The gen 4 for my 15 GC was ~620-30 HP AIR. The gen 6 has many improvements creating more hp per lb of boost. But crummy pistons still the limiting factor. No numbers listed, expect ~635-50. I asked if the CARB tune supports any upgrades beyond a ported stock TB…….. No ! ……….. as expected but I had to verify.

Not a bad price. I guess the dealership does not know how to wash a Jeep. I would never take pics of a filthy vehicle and list it for sale. The pic from the rear shows the muffler/tail pipes all out of whack. As dirty as the engine compartment is you can tell it has been off road. I would want to take a look underneath first.
Weird since free carwash is one of their perks.

My exact thoughts! I would also see about any maintenance records, oil changes. With the muffler jacked you can almost bet something is hidden beneath.

I'm in Nashville and saw a very similar setup with one touch. It was basically the same price and I believe a 2021 with more miles. Looks like a good deal to me. I love my 392! Still miss the manual...
