Where is this skid plate located?Works fine on a Sport. Although you might have to modify the plastic valance "skid plate" thing a bit to reach the knob.

I love my manual windows and locks. It was one of my must haves when buying my Jeep.Thats why I didn't buy a Rubicon. I was trying to avoid extra bells & whistles and I wanted manual windows & locks. Of course there has been times I wonder if I made the right the decision. Oh well too late now.
@Tncdrew installed Rubicon disconnect on his Willys. Does Willys come with Sport axles or Rubicon axles?
It's the plastic piece that hangs down under your front bumper.Where is this skid plate located?
I got rid of mine but I still have a metal skid plate of some kind there. I could easily reach behind it though to use the EVO manual disconnect. The guy at the shop mentioned you can get Rubi swaybars for $250 but I've yet to find that price. It's the plastic piece that hangs down under your front bumper.
Unless you got rid of it already.
Somewhere around here? It's the plastic piece that hangs down under your front bumper.

Yeah you have an aftermarket bumper so it's not a concern for you.Somewhere around here?

Same here friend.I love my manual windows and locks. It was one of my must haves when buying my Jeep.
I'm also in the "too late" category. This is the Jeep I'm going to have for a long time so just making it work with what I bought.
Its gone but I still have an aftermarket skid there. Is that the metal skid that came on your Jeep? Mine had this under the plastic skid:

My only wish is I could convert the start/stop button into a key start somehow.Same here friend.![]()
Which one? I don't like the stock one with the weird X's on it.Its gone but I still have an aftermarket skid there.
I'm not a fan of that either and I have those stupid horn beeps. Ugh!My only wish is I could convert the start/stop button into a key start somehow.
Why Wranglers need push to start is truly one of life's mysteries. My only wish is I could convert the start/stop button into a key start somehow.
Mine does not beep BUT since I don't have a FOB at all if a door is opened when the Jeep is on it'll start chiming and say that the FOB has left the vehicle until I hit the "ok"I'm not a fan of that either and I have those stupid horn beeps. Ugh!
