Which one? I don't like the stock one with the weird X's on it.
Its aluminum skid by quadratec. I did a, custom, chop the ends off because it looked like a 2nd bumper under there and I couldn't clean behind it. Its ok now.

Like @Flip mentioned back in this thread, I bought a take-off Rubi disconnecting sway, threw away the actuator, and fitted it with an Evo manual actuator, (for my '22 Willys). It's as easy as reaching under the bumper, and turning a knob. Super easy bolt-in.
Bought the sway off a guy for $200-250 (can't remember which), about three years ago.

When I park somewhere and I'm walking back to my Jeep, I feel like I made some good choices, not only in my Jeep but my upgrades as well. As much as I like the apex links, my tires rub against them slightly. Its not causing damage to anything, but I believe for my current set up the rubicon sway bar disconnect would have definitely been a better choice. At the time, I didn't know about that manual disconnect and that's what preventing me from going that route.

Come on now! Don't tell me you don't sneak a peek even as you're walking away.....
Be honest, 😉😁

Everytime! And right before I enter the store, I'll sneak another peek. You know what they say? If you don't look back, you bought the wrong vehicle. 😁

Interesting about the Autolynx. I'm worried about them rubbing against something. Whether it my my inner fender liner or something else. Then I've just created an even bigger problem for myself that I need to sink even more money into to solve.

The things people will do to avoid the obvious solution and spend more money to do it because doing it twice is somehow the answer.

wait which one is the obvious solution?
Only speaking for me, but for my needs, my modification was the most elegant, "obvious", and economical solution. And it keeps it very stock-like. And like I said before, one simple twist of a SINGLE knob before & after the trail does the trick.
And unlike the CANBUS communicating actuator (that I threw away), no silly nannies.

If you don't have aftermarket fender liners and your wheel offset is 4.75 - 4.5 BS you really shouldn't have any problem. I think the rubicon sawy bar is the best option all around though.

If I buy a rubicon sway bar my Apex links will be for sale at a very good price if you're interested.

Yeah when my actuator dies I'm just going to throw a manual knob on it and call it a day.

Unless I decide to do something ridiculous like put a rockjock sway bar on it

Yeah, so whats the difference between a rockjock sway bar and the rubicon sawy bar link. I watched a video on RJ but I never saw a disconnect.
