If you don't have aftermarket fender liners and your wheel offset is 4.75 - 4.5 BS you really shouldn't have any problem. I think the rubicon sawy bar is the best option all around though.

If I buy a rubicon sway bar my Apex links will be for sale at a very good price if you're interested.
I have aftermarket fender liners. I did search around but couldn't find a swaybar for less than $500 do I gave up on it. The manual disconnect for it is about $120 so all in was a bit more than I wanted to spend.

If you have disconnects at least it's something because you have a transfer case to buy yet...

About 2 years ago I looked for one also. Yep around $500 some had additional shipping costs. I couldn't find one local. Plus I didn't know about the manual option so I gave up.

Yeah I feel like we as a forum need to band together and make that happen somehow.

We all don't agree on much but we can all agree I need this Rubicon t-case so I can finally shut up about it.

Yeah when my actuator dies I'm just going to throw a manual knob on it and call it a day.

Unless I decide to do something ridiculous like put a rockjock sway bar on it
& @Flip ....

The "un-elegant" aspect of the Evo actuator, is if you have a Rubi bumper & steel skid plate (as I do). Getting to the Evo palm wheel is a bit awkward, (especially for an old guy like me) 😆
One night while imbibing in the shop, I came up with this solution. It can all be done with a few parts from the trusty McMaster-Carr catalog/website. A bit of easy bracket fab, a pillow block, coupler, and rod stock, and the knob can be located to a convenient spot under the pass. side frame horn. There are even threaded holes conveniently located for your pillow block bracket. Easy Peasy!.....
Have I done it yet? NO! 😉

You could even use a removable knob option, if you're worried about nosey fingers.

But I digress, don't mean to hijack thread.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... that actually funny, knowing the amount of times I've searched for used 4:1 JL T-cases! 🤣

While that does look cool and it would probably be pretty good that is way too much effort for me.

I'm the guy that will just yank the front sway bar off the Jeep entirely and call it a day.

I'm quite happy with my JKS disconnects but if I were doing it over again I'd be tempted to try the Rubicon sway bar + EVO manual knob approach. If I couldn't find a reasonably priced sway bar, then back to the JKS.

I didn't feel comfortable cutting that steel blade off. I think as others said it was smart to save it, just in case. My other issue is laying on the ground and sometimes having to use tools or a jack to line up the hole to put the pin back in was not an option for me as I have severe arthritis in my spine and I'm old OK!

I chose Apex lynx and absolutely love them.

Best of luck friend.

I installed JKS "quick" disconnects on a 2020 Gladiator Mojave. To be honest, they were kind of a pain in the ass to use, so I didn't use them very much. I just installed the Apex lynx disconnects on our 2023 Gladiator Mojave and they are fantastic. Super quick and super easy to disconnect or reconnect again. No limitation of articulation when off road. Apex has revolutionized the quick disconnect industry with the lynx disconnects. If I'm not in a Rubicon with the electronic disconnect button on the dash I will never go back to old style disconnects. I actually prefer the Apex disconnects in our Mojave to the electronic disconnects in our Rubicon. The Apex disconnect stays disconnected when off road, with none of the disconnect-reconnect-disconnect-reconnect-disconnect BS that the electronic nanny burdened Rubicon electronic disconnect system.

Well.... as I said, "Have I done it? NO!!" 🤣🤣

This is a guy who did a nice spring over conversion to his '83 CJ-7 back in the day, and threw the whole fkng sway bar in the garbage!

Sway bars are for street cars! 😉

Like @Flip mentioned back in this thread, I bought a take-off Rubi disconnecting sway, threw away the actuator, and fitted it with an Evo manual actuator, (for my '22 Willys). It's as easy as reaching under the bumper, and turning a knob. Super easy bolt-in.
Bought the sway off a guy for $200-250 (can't remember which), about three years ago.
I have watched and watched and watched (FB and CL)in this area (Florid)and can’t fine one for under $500, otherwise I would.

That's unfortunate. At that price point, I really doubt those are selling.... Greed.
