Great advertising. A quarter million views - Jeep should consider showing her some love.
Saw she did a follow up vid and it looks like Jeep friended her on Tik-Tok.

They should cut her a nice deal on a new Jeep or at least send her some free swag for the good publicity.

What makes this video even more hilarious is - this is exactly how I ended up with my Jeep. Back in 2021 my damn dealer gave me a brand new Gladiator Willy's to drive for 3 weeks while my Viper was in service :). 2 years later......I'm driving a Jeep.
Same. My local CDJR dealership started servicing Mitsus for a while, so I took my Evo in for a recall and they gave me a free JLU loaner after they broke a fitting on the ACD pump. Since I have a tendency to order vehicles without ever test driving them, this was a nice way to get familiar with the brand again.

Do people just sit around thinking of ways to create a viral video? Call me a party pooper, but that video made me cringe. Crocodile tears for clicks. At least spit the gum out.

On the other hand, douchebags like James Cordon get paid millions for content worse than that. I'll pass on all of it.

All it takes is one stint in a rental. That’s how I fell in love with Jeep ?
Someone should start a gofundme, I think she deserves a Jeep.

Exactly what I did a few years ago. I was really set on a 2 door JK/JL (YJ owner at the time). Rented a 4 door for a road trip, it took about 15 miles and I was sold on the extra doors.

I do my best to stay away from social media, so honestly no idea. But after watching her video, it comes off more as a witty bit of real life comedy and not an actual boo-hoo pity party.

Basically just making some light-hearted fun of herself now and how she thinks the Jeep is cool and makes her feel young again. I've paid to sit through 2-hour movies that made me chuckle less than a silly 2-minute video.

To each their own, I guess.

Okay, You’re a PARTY POOPER ! That was funny and touching at the same time. I hope she gets one somehow.

I’m the same way. The only thing close to social media I use is this forum.
Fun fact! Internet forums should not (and are not by most scholars) considered to be "social media". They predate the term by a few decades. The differentiator is that the vast majority of "social media" is meant for production (someone makes a thing) and consumption (other people consume that thing).

Forums, on the other hand, have almost no "production". Rather, they are little different than mediums that have been around for centuries (but with a quicker turnaround time). I'm talking about "letters to the editor". Research some of the most influential "letters" in modern history - the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist papers. These were essentially some very important people (Madison, Hamilton, etc.), using pseudonyms, writing a few paragraphs about an issue. Then some other people would write a response to that letter.

How was your transition?

I've only ever had sportscars. 66 Mustang, 95 Camaro, 00 Firebird convertible, 00 Trans Am WS-6, 08 G8GT, 17 Camaro SS. Then got the Jeep. Big change, but I haven't looked back!

I didn't transition. Still have the Viper, hoping to keep it around for as long as I am around.

Gotcha.

Yeah, keep it. They are going to be valuable.

Friend of mine has a 97 GTS in the blue/white. Honestly, one of the sexiest cars ever made.

I had driven other people's older Wranglers lots of times in the past, but I never drove a current-generation Wrangler before until I rented a Gladiator (not technically a Wrangler, I know, but it basically is) in Hawaii for a week this last December. 3 months later I was the proud owner of a new JLUR.

I was blown away by how much more capable a bone stock Gladiator (Sport!) was, than my Grand Cherokee WK2 that I had dumped a ton of money and work into.
