To be honest, I don’t remember the specifics on the carrier, I installed that about 7 years ago and sold the Jeep quite a while back. The version I had was definitely JL specific and completely replaced the hinges, not just spacers like shown in the video. Ace you to have a JL specific install video on YouTube that showed the install.

The carrier wasn’t bad. I didn’t have any fitment or rattling issues. It was big and heavy though. My buddy had a Motobilt tire carrier, and in comparison to that or stock, it took way more effort to open and close the tailgate. It also set the spare up pretty high. It was nice when off road because I never drug the spare when coming off a ledge, but visibility out the back window was useless.
