I also read 85lbs although I'm not sure how "official" that is other than a Jeep rep saying it at a car show or something (correct me if I'm wrong).
It's officially in the owner's manual...

Question. I am picking up my 392 (soon) and already have many of my upgrades ready to go!

I picked up the new BFG 37 K02 C Load tires. I also picked up the quadratech spare tire relocation kit. This tire is only 13 pounds heavy than the stock BFG tire. I wasn’t planning to reinforce the tailgate right off the bat.

Do you think this will be fine for the 13 pound weight difference?

My setup is 35s on a relocation bracket, it’s 110lbs. been running this for almsot a year, about 5000 miles. Zero issues on the highway, it occasionally rattles on trails, but even that has not been a major issue. but if it’s rattles a lot it will likely become an issue down the road.

so I’d say, at 33” under the 85lbs your fine, if you go bigger….. then you gotta consider how much you drive it on the highway vs trails
