What pounds of torque did you tighten the bolts? The instructions state 30lbs but I keep reading from reviews that they broke the bolts and got the screw stuck in their Jeep which is something I want to avoid. Also would anyone recommend putting loctite to the bolts to jolt the bracket to the Jeep to guarantee it won’t come loose?

I installed two sets of those carriers, myself and my buddy. Different size bolts have different torque spec so I am not sure which one you are referring to? Those bolts can break easy if you over torque it. I suggest you subtract 10 ft-lbs from what they suggested and go from there. And try to do that under room temperature. I think blue Loctite will be fine but I did not use any. Just did my tires rotated last night and checked the torque and everything still tight.
