The dreaded JB freeze

I just received permission to enter this crazy house! JB today. Ordered JLUR Granite Crystal on 1/31. All options except dual tops(hardtop).

My dealership just called me. Asked me if they could have the my jeep shipped without the soft top and just have it shipped later when it's available... I said hell yes! So hopefully I'll be in KZ status very soon!

I got the same call this afternoon from Craig at Koons. It is into KZ today or tomorrow as long as I would either:
1) take a credit for the soft top and buy it later
2) keep the soft top on the order and go get it at the dealer when it gets shipped to them

I went with the latter, so here she comes! I was told "several weeks" before the soft top arrives...

My Jeep has been stuck in JB status for a week now as well... and I also ordered the dual top option. Calling my dealer now to see if I can cancel the stupid soft top and get it moving.

I don’t think there is anyway you can cancel the soft top my dealer said factory orders are what they are. I think maybe what might be happening is some other dealers might have another jeep coming in or swapping out tops I’m not sure I hope it could be done but according to my dealer It cannot

I’m in the same boat, my dealer said they could not ship the Jeep without all the ordered options. And no way to change the order now if I wanted.

Agreed. No way the order can be changed after D1. Proof is look at your window sticker, factory order will have, built for “your name” on it

I’m not sure how their dealers are doing this, but kudos to them!

Will the sticker you view online have built for your name on it? Mine I can see my sticker online no where see my name on it.

Based on my experience, only the printed version will have your name on it...

There just can’t be a way they change the order after build. Like I said they either have another one coming in with the same build and swapping out tops. Maybe some people don’t know when they order it themselves that their name will be on the window sticker. I’ve had my dealer actually ask me what name do you want, ie, like a nickname or something because people sometimes like a nickname on the window sticker.

They’ll know when their window sticker doesn’t have their name on it. Anyway we are real close as March is right around the corner if ours does not move by mid-March then I’m going to have to seriously re-think
