Texting from the steering wheel/audio interface issue (Android)

I am trying to get my new 4xe all sorted out, and am having an issue: When I use the steering wheel button to speak, I'll say "Text John Doe" and it says that it's sent a notification to my phone that I need to accept-- but, I'm not seeing that I've been sent a notification.

Anyone know where I'm supposed to be looking for that?

Use Android Auto or Car Play. The built in AI is junk for voice commands.
