Technology package Wrangler S

Hi folks. I am looking at ordering Wrangler Sport S. If anyone knows that Technology package must be added to have air conditioning installed? If it's just ads passive entry lock , then I don't really care, but a/c is a must have. Thanks so much

I guess my question is : does Sport S 2022/23 has standard a/c and 7 inch cluster screen installed?
I do care to have premium sound system.

All the wranglers now come with A/C standard. The 4 doors always had it. Only the base 2 door wrangler didn't come with it, but now it does.

In fact they frequently do not know all the details and just try to add as many items as possible. Forget about asking them something like the axle size. Unless they like jeeps themselves, then maybe, otherwise those I talked to are just pushers to buy.

I just checked the configurator for a 2023 JL Sport S. It seems that analog air conditioning is standard. The $1,095.00 Technology Group adds a specific flourish: "Air Conditioning with Automatic Temperature Control". That simply allows the driver to choose a preset temperature that the system will then maintain sans additional operator inputs.

All wranglers have A/C. The sport S has always had standard A/C. The tech package gives you the ability to set thr A/C temperature and it will try to keep that temp. I have it in my Jeep and it does a great job, I like it. Would I pay $1000 for it? Nah.

The Technology package also adds the full color dash and Passive Entry to the front doors.

The order site shows a picture of the 7 inch radio so it is a little confusing. That radio is standard now.

All wranglers have A/C.

As of Model Year 2023, air conditioning is now standard across the model range.

Up through MY 2022, however, A/C was optional on the JL Sport and Willys Sport.

My aunt has really been wanting to order a basic, no-frills Gladiator. Local dealer told her she couldn't get the regular Sport, but had to get the Sport S and that no matter what, she had to buy the $200 all-weather floormats. Can't even imagine all the other shit they tried to upsell her on.

MY23 the AC is no longer an option and is just standard and included across the Wrangler lineup.
