Lol, gotta love the chrome hate. I was thinking of something similar to the Longhorn interior badge. I'm all about "chrome don't get you home" and wouldn't add chrome accessories or anything like that. But a tasteful small amount in a design looks good. I always liked my TJ headlight surrounds left factory chrome.

The pictures appear to be of the same vehicle, but the one above has some hood pre-ornament in front of the horns...

I agree that a tasteful (e.g. minimal) amount of chrome can look good…years ago I had the chrome headlight surrounds (and more) on a CJ5 (I think Jeep “fashion” was a little different at the time…).

Speaking of packages and (maybe too much) chrome, Jeep produced some chrome festooned Jeeps back in the sixties; the Tuxedo Park Mark I, II, and III were a CJ-5 trim level, and the Tuxedo Park Mark IV was marketed as a model of the CJ-5A. There was also a long wheelbase Tuxedo Park CJ-6A.

Tuxedo Park “stuff” included chrome front bumper, chrome wheel covers, chrome lower windshield hinges, chrome hood badges, and chrome hood latches.

Willys is more of a heritage version than military.

Oscar Mike is military, but a bit bland. Nothing like Longhorn.

Jeep used to have a package like that called Laredo. I don't see any reason why they couldn't bring it back.

Kinda surprised that Jeep hasn't collaborated with Wrangler jeans for a package similar to the old Levis package from the 70s

Last summer I completed a historical modification on my ‘21 for Jeep’s 80th Anniversary. All of the WWII MB parts are removable to retain the use of my Jeep as a daily driver. My daughter and I sewed together the replica canvas top.

The Willys package has changed throughout the years, when it initially debuted on the TJ it was only on the green paint, had white letters and stars on it, a olive green top, and camouflage inserts in the seats. Since the heritage of the brand is military it serves as both really.

Jeep has done a similar thing as a concept before. The NDTs really helped it look cool.

there’s two actual military vehicles based on the Jeep JK. The Israeli Ail Storm III and the Jeep J8 (Taiwan, a few other places). Knew an Israeli girl who loved her JK because it reminded her of home.

Honestly, they can straight up slap a Mopar snorkel on it, some special rims, add some basic bumpers, Israeli decals, Willy’s grille, and call it a day.

A co-worker of mine used to own a Levis edition Gremlin with the V8. What a comical little car that was. Certainly a product of its time.

Those wheels look perfect on a Jeep. It's curious why so many overbaked aftermarket wheels are available, whereas clean (and correct) designs like the one picture here are virtually unobtanium.
